It can be inserted onto the handle of the PRO ALU III shovel with just a few simple steps and offers additional protection. POCKET SPIKE is made up of two parts: the beak (steel blade, riveted with cold-hardened AL 7075 T6 aluminum support) and a tip inserted in place of the shovel bucket. The two parts can be inserted into each other easily and weigh just 95 grams. Perfect for when you're not sure if you should bring an ice ax on a hike!
